Material editor

To display the material editor, please click on the material editor icon on the right side in the toolbar.

Menu bar:

  1. Create new material
  2. Delete marked material
  3. Open material catalog
  4. Material pipette
  5. Filling bucket
  6. Assign
  7. Copy material
  8. Delete unused materials
  9. Material preview
  10. Filter / Search for materials

 

Settings:

  1. Material color
  2. Selecting a texture

  3. Setting the roughness via input or by means of texture

  4. Set whether object made of metal via
    Input or via texture

  5. Adjusting the brightness (Mostly no change necessary)
  6. Transparency
  7. Normal map, simulation of surfaces
