Subtract

To subtract one object from another, proceed as follows:

1. Select the element from which another body or surface is to be subtracted (A).
2. Clicking on the Subtract command in the Edit tab
3. Select the element to be subtracted from the first body (B).

As a result, the portion of the second object that intersects with the area or volume of the first object is subtracted from the first object (C). To execute the command, make sure that the objects (2D or 3D drawing elements) have common intersection edges or must intersect each other.
